Music production
YOUR SONGFULLY PRODUCED
Everything between the song you wrote and the record people hear.
Most songs that arrive here are already good. That is the frustrating part. The melody works, the lyric says something, and the recording still sounds like a demo. What is missing is almost never talent — it is the layer of decisions a producer makes. Which instrument enters where. What the second verse does differently. How much space the chorus needs before it lands.
So it starts with a plan, not a template: this section wants a real kit instead of a loop, this chorus needs a counter-melody, this bridge is a half-tempo moment you have not written yet. You approve it before anything is recorded.

Nothing here is pulled from a library. If the song wants cello, someone plays cello.
Then the parts get played. Guitars, bass, drums, piano, keys, violin, cello, clarinet, saxophone and flute, all by one person. No session fee per musician, no waiting on anyone's calendar.
Your own performances stay at the centre. If the vocal that arrived has the take in it, the record is built to flatter it. If not, you get practical direction to re-record at home — or you come to Rome and sing it in a proper room.
The same person then mixes and masters it, so nothing is lost in a hand-off. You get the master, an instrumental and all the stems.

The practical part
What you send
- A rough mix — a phone recording is enough to start.
- Stems or session files if you have them.
- Two or three reference tracks.
What you get back
- The produced, mixed and mastered record, ready to release.
- An instrumental, and a live version without the lead vocal.
- All the stems, and the revision rounds to get the last five percent right.
About production
Can you write the parts, or do I have to?
Paolo writes and plays them. You brief, react and approve — you never have to program a string line you cannot hear in your head yet.
What if I already produced most of it?
Then the job is smaller and so is the quote. Plenty of songs just need drums replaced or the arrangement thinned out.
Will it still sound like my band?
That is the measure of a good production. Your voice, your lyrics and your playing stay the centre of it.
